So so gorgeous. And so strangely timely. I was at a friend's house last night and an entire corner of her garden was purple. Lilacs, helibore(sp?)...it was just wonderful.

ladybugs are good luck . . . purple has a spiritual meaning.

Beyond gorgeous!

Beautiful. Just a beautiful, softly purple and calming. I had one bloom on my wisteria. Share with me your secrets.

Your photos are fantastic. I love all the different shades of purples. We have a lot of lilacs in bloom right now and the scent is wonderful.

My goodness what beautiful photos! The first one is my favorite - wouldn't that be a wonderful place to visit?

gorgeous photos, and my two favorite insects.

gorgeous photos, and my two favorite insects.

That first one is just stellar, the way the blossoms in the background create an abstract backdrop for the clear-focused raceme in front. Beautiful!

Oh Steph, these close-ups are just stunning and so pretty.
