i love the evenings and the sounds of birds singing with the sun on the trees, the traffic hurrying by, the taste of wine, the smell of summer as it awaits right around the corner, ... it's all so damned good.
i feel the breeze and hear the robins sing fervently their last songs of the night as the sun sets and the traffic grows more muffled in the low light of the setting sun when i look at this... but can you? if i had chairs enough, i would invite you all over, to share my wine, my fading but still beautiful wisteria, and the songs of the evening. this feeling of content? it's the same i feel at 4:30 in the morning in the early summer when i wake to hear the birds and the new sun - and it seems i do hear the sun - as they both greet the new day....
it's lovely, isn't it?
I'm all about that too - but wondering if you nailed the pigeons or not?

Yes, it is lovely. And I'd be happy to just sit on the grass.

I had a bird trilling very near and open window the other morning. I has some very unlovely feelings towards it. I am a nature girl, honest, and I would love to sit and sip.

Thank you for the kind invitation. I agree with Ali: I don't need a chair.

Oh, I'd drag my sagging folding chair over, to sit in your yard and share a glass of wine . . .

I have been to two gatherings that occurred partly in the rain if only because we couldn't bear to be inside when it was still light out and just warm enough to make the rain negligible.
And your knowing the names of birds and who's singing reminds me I have *got* to sign up for Seattle Audobon.

The most irritating thing is that people don't care about nature properly? What I like most about nature is how varied it is. Keep enjoying it!
