cupid of the sea

Octolove_1

alice asked that i help her with a test run of her octopus stuffie she will be offering for sale in the very near future(girl).  i said heck yes... so did rose.  it is a great pattern, and very alice in that it is quite detailed and full of information.  i didn't have any sequins so my octopus has teeny tiny suckers.

you may think this little pinkie is familiar? well, then you would be right. he is the cousin of octophrost, santa of the sea, that wonderful ornament alice made me in the great ornament swap of 2006

this one? his name is...
octolove, cupid of the sea.

he even has a tattoo.

happy valentines day.... all you sea loving creatures, and thank you alice for a wonderful opportunity to help you out...

Deep sea cephalopod of L.O.V.E. Speaking of love, I do love this Valentine's incarnation, with its mincing little suckers. Just tiny hickeys from this one.

Oh! I'm in love. The multicolored legs were genius. I love how you made his eyes, too. :) Octolove is adorable!

He's wonderful.

You guys are amazing. Each one so different. I'm dying, I'm dying.

Will I ever get to the great ornament swap post that I want to write? You deserve it. It's hard to put into words, that's the delay.

complete with tattoo...i think i may be in love, cupid of the sea has cast a spell on me. he's adorable!!

I'm running out of words... overwhelmed by the output out there this a.m.

I love that secret heart! Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Cute bottom, stamped with love even down there!

;)

This is so cute and beautiful Stephanie, I am definitely a sea loving creature (aka. Babelfish). Happy Valentines dear X

i am dazzled by this valentine's day octopus. the eyes, the colors, the little suckers... and the tattoo! you are amazing.

It is wonderful!!! I saw a dancing lobster at the store last night...And you know what? He slowly opend his red coat while he danced side to side, to reveal his heart infused boxers....That silly lobster.. Your Octopus is much more lovely...and detailed... and fabulous!!!

I love this! And will buy a pattern the minute it's available. How darling! The beads instead of sequins is really great too seeing as how I've got tons of the former and none of the latter.

nice work you!

looks good enough to eat! nice details!

octolove's tattoo... :)
That's why I love reading your blog, Steph.

Supercute! I dig the multicolor legs, too. It's nice to see another great mind at work with the floral irises!
