why does a perfectly roasted chicken taste best the next morning, cold, eaten with your fingers while leaning over the kitchen sink?

Same thing goes for pizza. Now that I think about it ... I eat leaning over the kitchen sink way too often. :)

Also stuffed grape leaves hmmmm... I think this strange phenomenon is caused by all the yummy flavors soaking in over night and the cold keeps them at their utmost peak!

You are so right!!! Even though I have been a vegetarian for over thirty years, I still can remember that perfect taste as you describe!

I'm a vegetarian but maybe it's because early next morning you just can't be bother and eating with your fingers makes food, any food, taste better :)
