Great post. I've read a little about the right/left brain thing and I like the idea of doing exercises to work your way through blocks you may have.

And your 7 items are great, you draw extremely well! I especially love the paperclip. And I do think that everyone can draw. But whether one draws "well" or not is a matter of opinion because everyone's style of drawing is so different. And it's not so much how well you draw but what you draw.

I look at a lot of illustrator blogs and many of them draw very simple things that I could easily draw but I don't think I would be able to come up with most of their ideas on my own.
